Meeting essentials
Know all
No limit to the possibilities
The Parthen catalogue contains thousands of products: from a pen to a writing pad, a little present, a badge, a T-shirt, an umbrella, you name it. These products allow an infinite number of designs, with or without printing. The printing itself also offers countless options. In short: Parthen has an extremely wide range of choices on offer. And if it turns out that the one article you set your mind on cannot be delivered, Parthen will make sure it will be manufactured, tailor-made.
Support!
Support for defining requirements, for finding just the right item or tailor-made solutions. Parthen has the knowledge, experience and willingness to help people find the item they need. Just ask for our active support. Parthen knows the market, the bottlenecks, the people and the ways to go about. It works.
Question? Parthen will be happy to be of service: +31(0)20-5727374 or info@parthen.nl.
The Parthen products in store are supplied from a central storage facility in Geldermalsen, the Netherlands, so that delivery may take place within hours after ordering, depending on the kind of transport. Also, the product will have to be available. International deliveries are equally possible: within two to five weekdays.
More time
It is more convenient to assume a delivery time of 6 weeks or more. The reason? If Parthen can start working at an early stage – preferably at least three months in advance of the required delivery date – this offers the opportunity to design tailor-made products in close consultation with our client. The actual manufacture will then be outsourced to the Far East, and monitored by highly reliable local agents.
Guaranteed delivery
Parthen’s wide experience and trusted business relations enable us to acknowledge delivery addresses in nine out of ten cases, meaning that delivery is guaranteed.
Printing possibilities
Most products allow printing with logos, images and/or text. Parthen will be happy to take care of this side of business as well. Depending on the article various printing techniques may be used. During the entire printing process Parthen will act as consultant and supervisor.
Information for offer
In order to make an offer that is as complete as can be, the following information is required:
- logo: the best thing would be to send an example by email
- text: the desired font
- printing colour(s) and possible PMS colour codes
- printing position: where do you want us to apply the printing?
- size of printing
- budget
Delivering artwork
Parthen prefers to receive original 1:1 Eps Vector files (in Illustrator), the text being transferred into curves. Font delivery should take place separate from the image, including colour example. Grids and thin lines require additional consultation.
Parthen will always be happy to offer further support or advice on the possibilities.
Printing techniques
Silk-screen printing
Use of a printing form (template) to create a printed image directly onto the material.
Application: almost all even materials, such as textile (including bags), wood, synthetic materials, glass and metal.
Transfer printing
Works on the same principle as silk-screen printing, albeit that printing takes place on a (transfer) paper first, after which the actual printing onto the article is done through a transfer (using pressure and heat).
Application: mostly used for multi-colour printing on textile (including bags) if standard silk-screen printing is not an option.
Dabbing printing
Printing takes place using a flexible stamp.
Application: the flexibility of the stamp allows this technique to be used on uneven surfaces: round, curved and conical.
Embroidery
Logo, image and/or text are stitched onto the material using a computerised embroidery machine.
Application: clothing, caps and other textile products.
(Laser) engraving
A laser beam or diamond-tipped etching needle is used to engrave an image and/or lettering into the article. Laser engraving allows the image to become slightly deeper.
Application: metal articles.
Etching
An etching liquid is applied to the article through an electrostatic process. The colour of the ‘printing’ will be the colour of the basic surface of the article.
Application: metal articles, such as pens and little boxes.
Offset
A form of flatbed printing in which the template is printed onto a rubber blanket cylinder that will transfer the printing to paper.
Application: mousepads, writing pads and folders.
Foil printing
Foil is pressed onto the material using a relief printing plate, heat and pressure. The foil is available in various standard colours.
Application: synthetic materials, leather or skai leather.
Blind embossing:
The same as with foil printing, albeit that no foil is used and the image is stamped deeper into the material.
Application: leather or skai leather, e.g. folders and portfolios.
Keeping track of orders
Depending on your wishes Parthen will keep you informed at regular intervals about the order status. Parthen will of course make sure that clients will always be updated when it comes to essential information.
Track & Trace
Clients who wish to check the status of their order for themselves can, in specific cases, request a Track & Trace number through Parthen. This will allow them to keep track of their order from minute to minute.
Go to Track & Trace page to enter number and keep track of order.
Parthen increasingly greener
More social commitment and an open eye towards the needs of the environment; Parthen wants to contribute as well. Our company is continually working on an ever greener range of products, including writing pads and badges complying with the FSC mark requirements. Products bearing this mark guarantee a manufacturing process in which the entire cycle from cutting down trees up to and including the end product has been strictly monitored.
Parthen will be more than happy to think along actively with its clients who wish to go greener. Feel free to send your query: +31(0)20-5727374 or info@parthen.nl.
