Township Patterns is a social enterprise producing eco-friendly conference bags from 100% natural fibres sourced in Africa. The bags are made by previously disadvantaged women in independent sewing co-ops around Cape Town that are supported by ASB non-profit (the sister NPO). Each item sold directly improves their lives – this is clarified by a Social Impact Index which is sent to customers together with the quote – increasing the transparency of the Township business model. Township Patterns is an accredited member of the World Fair Trade Organization.
